My Twitter Cloud, las “páginas amarillas” de Twitter
Después de un par de meses trabajando con una versión beta, hoy podemos compartir el lanzamiento de MyTwitterCloud, un buscador de usuarios para Twitter, que permite encontrar perfiles realizando búsquedas en función de sus intereses y aficiones, su profesión o su origen. El índice de MyTwitterCloud está construido en base a los millones de listas Twitter confeccionadas por los propios tuiteros. Al hacer una lista, el usuario le asigna una etiqueta descriptiva y contribuye a la construcción del índice.
Su creador, Fernando del Pozo, director de proyectos de Antevenio explica cómo funciona: «Al igual que los buscadores web, http://www.mytwittercloud.com devuelve los resultados ordenados por relevancia y es capaz de proponer los términos de búsqueda relacionados más importantes. La relevancia de un perfil viene determinada en primer lugar por el número veces que una persona o marca ha sido incluida en listas con una etiqueta descriptiva y, en segundo lugar, por el número de followers o seguidores que tiene. Los usuarios se ordenan de forma natural en base a las miles de etiquetas asignadas por otros cientos de miles de usuarios de forma totalmente democrática».
Monitorizar la reputación
Además, http://www.mytwittercloud.com es una útil herramienta de monitorización de la presencia de cualquier persona o marca en Twitter. Los perfiles de usuarios muestran un resumen de la imagen que estos proyectan en Twitter, lo que la convierte en una herramienta extremadamente útil para departamentos de marketing, comunicación e incluso recursos humanos.
MyTwitterCloud ofrece más de 260.000 términos de búsqueda distintos. Los países con más presencia son EEUU, Reino Unido, España y Canadá.
